My younger Brother, Dechlin.

 Dechlin is creative.

All of you who have met Dechlin probably already know this, but when he is at home, and he is trying to figure out a problem you can almost see the cogs turning in his head, you can definitely hear them though as he is an out-loud thinker when it comes to problems.
He has his ups, and his downs, although his downs can be either downs or ups, think of it this way, 
you are driving down the road, to go to an important meeting, and you ask Dechlin, "Hey Bud, did you get your notebook?" "Yes," he answers, but in reality, he is being mischievous and does not have his notebook.
Another good way to look at it though is that he is Tuffnut, from How to Train your Dragon, 
this description totally fits him.
Another odd thing about Dechlin is with all his creativity, and love of fun, he is not a dog person, he is a cat person.
A little bit longer than a year ago, he found and adopted a day old orphaned Kitten that he named Smeagol.
Yes, her name is still Smeagol, she loves to be in the house, and it is kind of pathetic the way she just sits meowing by the door to be let in.
Then in June Smeagol had Kittens, only one of them was a Black and white Tuxedo cat, like her mother, she is also Dechlins, and her name is Crackers.
I think that while Dechlin has the Nature to be spontaneous, he is also very cautious, and articulate when it comes to making an important decision.
Therefore I have Tuffnut for a Brother.

Non-Negotiables

Hi, y'all! It's been a hot minute. I was feeling stuck for a little while, trying to juggle everything I have going on and wanting to do more has been quite the challenge lately. My cow, dog, studies, job, business marketing with my mom, etc. Plus wanting to do more and find more ways to create capital. Anyway, I had a talk with my parents the other day and I realized that one of the reasons I felt so stuck was because I hadn't given myself anything with which to measure my progress (if any) that I was making. So I sat down and wrote down a few goals for myself, just little ones. Then I wrote down everything I need and want to do in the month of September.  It was a good start. But then I realized that I often create goals and things for myself, but forget and ultimately never follow through on them. August Farm Walk

 Hi y'all! I haven't talked about it yet, but today is the day! My family is a part of a group called The Green Hills Project. It is a group of regenerative farmers who share how they run their operations and discuss their farming practices and how to improve them. One of the ways that the group does this is through monthly farm walks, which are basically farm tours. This month's farm walk was at Greg Judy's farm: Green Pastures Farm.  We started the farm walk by going over some Green Hills business and eating a potluck dinner. It was during the potluck dinner that I found out we got super lucky with our moving time. In what way? Well, when you bring cattle from the west to the mid-west it is best to do it during the fall or winter. Why? Because one of the main grasses found in the mid-west is Fescue.
